We are committed to protecting your personal data. We process your data exclusively in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions (GDPR, Telecommunications Act TKG 2003). The purpose of this information on data protection is to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website. All members of Sandhoff e.U. staff are subject to the duty of confidentiality under the Data Protection Act.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

Access data/ Server log files

We automatically collect and store information transmitted to us by your browser. Such information comprises:

• browser type/version,
• operating system
• referrer URL (previously visited page),
• host name of accessing computer (IP address),
• time of server access
• volume of data transmitted, and
• notification whether data retrieval was successful

Users’ IP addresses are deleted or anonymized upon termination of the use of the website. In the event of anonymization, the IP addresses are altered in such a way that details of personal or material circumstances no longer can be linked to an identified, or identifiable, natural person, or such link can only be restored with disproportionate investment of time, cost and labour. To further improve our website and make it user-friendlier, and to be able to find and remove errors faster, we evaluate data in the so-called “log files”; however, such data are anonymized. In addition, such data are also utilized to control the server’s capacity to be able to provide corresponding data volumes if needed.

Contact form/catalogue request

When you initiate communication with us using a web form or e-mail, the data provided by you shall be stored with us for the purpose of processing your request and any follow-up questions. We do not transmit such data to third parties without your consent.

Extended data protection information for Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable us to analyse your use of our website. As a rule, the information generated by the cookies about your use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Utilization of Facebook Social Plugins

Our website uses so-called Social Plugins (“Plugins”) of the social network Facebook operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). Such plugins are indicated by the Facebook logo or “Facebook Social Plugin” supplement. When you access a page on our website containing such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with Facebook servers. YouTube

The Java Script code of YouTube (LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA; “YouTube”) is loaded onto our website. We use the provider, YouTube, to embed videos into our web presence. If you have activated Java Script in your browser but not installed any Java Script blocker, your browser may transmit your personal data to YouTube. It is not known to us with what data YouTube links such data received and for what purpose YouTube uses such data. Web Fonts

To correctly display texts, this website uses web fonts provided by “Adobe Fonts”.

To correctly display text and fonts, your browser loads the required web fonts into the browser cache. For this purpose, your browser establishes a connection to the servers of “Adobe Fonts”, whereby “Adobe Fonts” becomes aware that this website has been accessed with the IP address assigned to you.
